So.. where the heck does a
f2p-er find all these turbine points needed to buy quest packs? By completing
as many deeds as possible. There are social, racial, reputation, class, epic
and quest area deeds so thankfully, there are TONS of deeds you can do.
When I first started my f2p experiment, a wonderful site called Mmorsel had something they called a Turbine Point Finder. The Turbine Point Finder listed all of the deeds known in the game at the time, the level you could obtain the deed at, and how many turbine points you would earn by completing the deed. Unfortunately, the site is no longer up.
So, I am going to work on getting something similar up. It won't be as elegant as Mmorsel's Turbine Point finder - I don't know how to imbed a spreadsheet into this blog. But hopefully, this will be the next best thing.
Keep in mind this is a work in progress, so it is not complete. If I have missed anything, or something is incorrect, I would appreciate a comment to let me know.
