The LoTRO Dynamic Map

One of the BEST resources for any LoTRO player  is the LoTRO Dynamic Map. I use it a LOT to find locations, items and specific NPC's (Non-playing characters).

This is the map that opens up when you first go to the Dynamic Map. The map is the original map for Bree-land but with lots of colored dots all over the place. The white dots show specific locations on the map, the green dots show NPC's, green triangles show stables,  purple dots show items placed in the landscape, and yellow triangles show provisioners, armourers, weaponsmiths, ect.

Notice the little down arrows the red arrows are pointing to? These down arrows open up menus that allow you to change the map and look for specific things in the map.

Here, I have chosen the Archet map and I am looking for Bronwe's Folly. When I click on the name Bronwe's Folly, I will be shown the location of it in this map:

This little tip box opens up right on top of the location I am looking for, and best of all, it gives you the co-ordinates to get to this location.  This is cool because the LoTRO mini-map located in the top left of your game window (default location) shows the name and co-ordinates of the location your toon is currently at.

So, if you are trying to locate something quite small using the Dynamic Map, you can watch the co-ordinates on your mini map to tell when you are getting close. You don't have to spend hours searching!
